RESPONSIBILITIES (=) AND MAIN TASKS (+)

= The Project Buyer manages the assigned package from preparation of the Request for Quotation
(RFQ) till issue of the PO and kick-off meeting in accordance with the applicable procedures. He
supports the Package Manager upon request after this phase. He has the primary responsibility for
the timely and cost effective selection of the supplier of the subject package. When the role is
combined with that of Package Manager for a particular Package, the role encompasses both job

descriptions.

+ To Compile and issue the Request for Quotation, ensuring that the Bidders List and Supplier

Qualification requirements are met,

To expedite the quotations and perform the commercial bid clarifications as required,

To perform the commercial assessment of the offers,

To prepare the Recommendation To Purchase (RTP) and Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE),
To publish all technical & commercial offers into the CIS dedicated Procurement Directory,
To organise a pre-award meeting when required,

To prepare the Purchase Requisition and to monitor its timely approval,

To prepare the (Change) Purchase Order, to monitor its timely issue and approval,

To expedite PO acknowledgement, Bank guarantee and milestone related commercial

documents,

To organise the supplier kick-off meeting if required by the Package Manager,
To issue VQR when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Business School Degree with a major in Purchasing or Technical HND Degree + one year

of specialization in Purchasing.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Procurement with a solid technical background ideally in

the Oil & Gas business.
